Cat 2000 help
Well i have found a Cat 2000 in the loft and thought i would give it a go for a little dabble in 4wd.
It was raced about 12 years ago and has sat in the loft ever since and was wondering if there is anything that i should look out for in terms of parts that wear or need constant attention. also does anyone know of any good setups etc etc.. thanks in advance. |

Also does anyone know where i can download a manual or can enlighten me on how the wing is mounted...
the wing has two plastic domed washer bits attached to it but the wing mounts are just two cups and i can see no obvious way of attaching one to the other. again many thanks if you can help |

wing mount uses "O" rings. you can go on schumachers site and in their tech section they have exploded views and manual downloads. Not sure if it is the same exact part # for the wing mount as the new cat sx but I do know it is mounted the same way. look there and you should get the idea.

Manual can be downloaded from :
http://www.retromodelisme.com/liste_...m=17&c=&e=&mo= I'm still running my cat 2000 at club level (york) but I have to be honest its driver skill that lets it down and not the car. muppetry on the gear ratios killed a speedo but other than that the car has been faultless which is more than can be said for the driver, but i'm still having loads of fun |
