Default Whos got one!?

Come on then, own up, who has one ? aparently they are in general circulation now ?!?
I spoke to someone yesterday who along with a couple of mates all have them, and had various problems with skipping belts and the like.. I have to say I had no problems like that at all with mine, it was spot on. Bit tight when first built but freed up nicely after a couple of runs or so.

Mine has been together for a couple of weeks already, however I am still waiting for all my electronics to come back from getting tuned and reprogrammed. I think I will be putting the kids radio in this week just to fix my need. Any advise on the gearing with 27t 19t and a mod of about 9 turn. Those long pinions will be hard to find in the Canadian prairies and I would like to be somewhat successful first time at the track.

I ran a 22t pinion on my 12, Id stick the kit pinion on your 9. maybe 25/26 on your 19 turn.. not sure about 27 as ive never used one.

reprogrammed ? that sounds a bit fancy

make sure to get it on some rough stuff, the car floats over it so nicely, makes it worth it!

The pinions are made by RW or Corally and are called long boss pinions

Just had another look and normal pinions fit fine, theres not a whole lotta shaft but the shaft on all my motors extends well past the grub screw and the pinion has a firm base.

Done! :jimmeh just want to polish it a little more... no point chucking out a half arsed effort is there. I have to say though, I'm quite pleased with how it looks. Had my team of oOples checking it over last night.
