For the attention of all racer's

There will be no racing this Sunday in naul for the first time in a year, not due to weather, but due to the Rccaoi agm in navan.

This is to facilitate members who wish to attend to do so.

Also the model expo in Blackrock is on.

Hopefully see you the week after as normal at 10

A couple of drivers have asked if we can open later on Friday to facilitate people who will be working, so we have decided to keep the track open till 9pm on Friday.

Hello all members

We have secured the keys for the new venue at St Margarets.

We want to show everybody the new venue and what the future can hold for us.
We intend to stop racing at 3pm this weekend and bring everyone down afterwards to the new site.

We would request everyone to make the effort to get there, even if you cant make the racing we would urge you to meet us at 3pm near there and show you.

This is a great opportunity for our sport and the clubs future.
We can only make it work if everyone pulls together with help and input.

any queries please email me or ring me

Graham

For the attention of all racers

we will be changing the track AFTER this sundays racing 30th March.

We will require members to carry out a small bit of work on sunday

1) Track hoovering If you have a spare hoover please bring it along. The track has to be hoovered and the pits.

Then

2) Cordless drill We will need all the white hose to be unscrewed and the screws left on the table beside the rostrum.
The jumps should be lifted up and placed on the main straight ( after it has been hoovered).

The hose can be left on the track where it is just remove the screws.

When this is done the new track will be laid on wednesday night ready in time for the following sunday.

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT MEMBERS HELP WITH THIS

I'd just like to thank all the members who took the track up on Sunday & hoovered the track.

It was great to arrive to a blank canvas & just get on with laying out the new track.

In total 13 members were involved in making the changes, fair play to everybody involved.

Smile new track

well done to all who laid down the new track.it was fast and flowing and made for some close racing . i think most drivers liked it and it's much better to marshal with the removal of the flyover, i liked the inner sections and there are some good spots for overtaking or in my case for being overtaken! LOL. the platfom at the w.o.d is also a good feature but is deceiving and caught out many a driver from all levels of abilities ! the micros went really well on it too. looking forward to getting to grips with the new layout over the next few meetings , roll on the summer champs and again well done.

So we need to get this moving and established.

stage 1 was to get the grass cut done

stage 4 spray the track area
stage 5 roll the track area and organise a 20ft container
stage 6 build the rostrum on the ground or container
stage 7 lay the track

If anyone can help with stage 5 and 6 please contact graham asap
