Stuart..

Thats excellent news on the entry front, hope we can get numbers up to what Coventry and Kidderminster have enjoyed..

If you have mail addresses for the current entry list could you let them know about the BCL event at Ledbury this coming sunday, would be good practice before the Regional the following week on the same track and surface...

I have got a thread with all the details on in this midwest section...

Cheers

See you there..

Lee

Weather looks ropey right through, if there's any risk of the track being unusable due to being too wet can we try and make the decision before the day?

I know there's nothing we can do about the day itself!

Ledbury doesn't get water logged ...... some of the conditions I've raced 1/8th there would shock anybody but the meeting ran on.

Chaps..

The forecast isnt the greatest (hopefully not right as usual) but as mentioned above we dont tend to get any standing water on the track due to the nature of the soil..

I with a few others are up there on Saturday to cut grass and layout the track ready for sunday, will let you know if there are any issues with the weather.

Not sure if Tom is coming over the day/evening before but I think its down to him to decide as to wether the meeting runs or not.

Fingers crossed..

Lee

Yes it will be the track in the corner again.
That is the only track we use for electrics, no 1/8th scales allowed on there etc.

Most of it is now grass, has had plenty of time to grow now and looking alot better, It is more sand than dirt i would say.

But we will lay the track so that it is not too tricky to go up
the sandy parts.

i dont think the 4wd wil have much trouble with the tarrain. i was thinkin more about the cleaning of the cars afterwards. last time i went i had to completly rebuild the car and im just being lazy and not looking forward to that again.

can you tell me, has the issue at the rostrum been resolved where you hit the sleepers and took off the front of the car and then went into the ditch?

This is "Off Road" Guys !!! it does involve dirt you lazy %?&$£* lol Rich with comments like that your in danger of having your "Dirty Driving" licence revoked lol

As Rich mentions we ran the Border Counties last week and to be fair it was very dry and dusty, dont think that will be a problem this weekend
