Staggered Ribs
I got a pair of staggered ribs in a big box of tyres but cant find any wheels to fit them on cos the bit you glue is really wide so wont fit in the slot on any rims!
how do i sort it (running a xxx-cr btw) |

turn the tyre inside out, and trim the bead down which is currently too big. turn the tyre outside-in and glue um up!
I do this on ALL my tyres for a perfect fit on rims. |

just for future refence, the gluey bit comes down and sticks out from the tyre like this ____ _! !_ with ! the sidewall _ as the gluey bit and _____ as the tyre surface |

The sidewall on a stagger rib is unique and a pain. If you decide to trim you have to do it from the outside in but that's tricky too, cutting it inside out sill indeed cut the sidewall off
Assuming you have wide front wheels (most do) they should fit put need to be poked down with like the end of a flat bladed screwdriver. If you have narrow wheels the outer bead isn't usualy wide enough so they won't fit.
