Default Rules for off-road racing with Bedsrcmcc

As we are keeping a tight hold of rules indoors, I think having spoken with several club members already that the rules for the off-road arm of our club should be a little more relaxed.

In general I think a starting point would be:

Class of racing:
1:10 scale 2WD & 4WD buggies
1:10 scale racing trucks (not to be confused with monster trucks)

Tech rules:
Free choice on tyres and hubs - no foam or sponge tyres
No tyre addative apart from water allowed on the tyres
Modified motors allowed - (what do members think about the limits on type of motors?)
Weight ready to run 1600g

Any other thoughts guys on the rules?

I don't think there should be limits on motors, just whatever you can handle on your car. If the motor is too fast then you will be just as bad as if your motor is too slow. As I mentioned before, I see constant podium placings in the magazines of 1st place 7.5 turn, 2nd 5.5 and 3rd 6.5 etc..... as long as the motors are BRCA legal.
