Andy,
The majority of people I know use 37 shore however I've recently had to buy 35 shore as they're out of stock.

Hi Eric

Has anything progressed with a bulk purchase of foams?

If anyone is intrested I have emailed Shumacher to see if they will do or can get hold of the 1/8th circuit car front foams without the wheels as these are a better size for buggy wheels, but no response yet.
Dont know if you can have any luck along this avenue eric.
Its been a week and a bit since I emailed them but no response!!!!!!

I actually miss the day's of pin tyres and stock motors!

It seems all the other suppliers are foreign, Italy and Spain I think. I spoke to serpent UK who import xceed and he said not much he can do, and a few model shops all said the only ones who may help is Schumacher.
Interestingly not one of the shops offered to speak to them for me, which is surprising because they would have regular contact with them and be able to get quicker answers. Also they would then get the profit for the sale.
Just my thoughts. If anyone can help us move this forward it would benefit all at the club for sure. (except those on old fashioned pin tyres :-)

I have heard from schumacher and they are looking into it.
So I think we just have to sit tight and wait and see.

I hope they come up with something.

Thanks for that. I have clicked on the link and that tyre is not 1/8th circuit, it is 1/8th stock car which are the tyres we are already running. They have an ID of approx 42 or 47mm. A buggy wheel has an ID of 56mm and width of 36mm, which comes back to the point of having to strech them over the rims. From what I can see the 1/8th Circuit car tyres on the front are 52mm and the width is 37mm, therefore a better fit.
If we have to carry on using the foams for 1/8th stock car then thats what we will do, but it looks like things are being looked at, so finger crossed.
I have personally spent hours scanning the web and ringing a few shops to no avail on suitable size foams beyond what we are using.

I really need to get out more!!

OK guys, a bit more on my fav subject.
I have had a phone call from a models shoop I spoke to last week. and they have a stash of Ennette (Sorry about spelling) foam donuts that he is happy to part with at a very good price. We are talking a set of front and rears in 35 shore hardness. Both are 47mm ID (So not ideal) but rears are 63mm wide and fronts are 40mm wide.
Price he has given me is £10 per set!!!!! that is 4 tyres at sizes above plus postage.
This is a chance for a bargin if you think we all pay 8.99 ish per pair!!!
I am looking to do an order He has 23 sets only, so if anyone else is intrested I am happy to do a joint order. He did say if we take the lot he will cut me an even better deal but I dont have the money myself.
If anyone is intrested in this one chance either see me on friday @ the club or message me, or if the club is intrested please let me know.
This is a great oppertunity for some cheap foams for all.
