Cool review again Jimmy, some clever artwork going on again as well, I like the look of the tiny corally style connectors, you think they would work ok in 1/10th sized cars? Be handy for ‘plug and play’ motors changes.

Video is ace as well, music needs some work ha ha

That music is awesome man! POLE POSISIEEEONNNNNN

I think those connectors might be the same size as they use on the likes of CS and Keyence and MRT speed controllers, so yes, they should work fine.

They come stock with the mini-rage (plug plug roflol) but I could ask Tekin whether they could pre pack them so people are able to buy them?

are they same as the ones on the ESC's listed ? Ive not seen them for sale seperately, I had to buy mine from schumacher in a lil kit with wire etc- so I could use them on my Keyence.

Nice review!

I'm not sure about the corally plugs, they seem to be similar to the gold plugs which are often used here in Germany to connect batteries and motors.

They are sold from really small (2mm) to really big (5.5mm) which are good for 200A.
Not sure if the link is ok, but you could get a nice overview:

Hi mate, the Impact has been sat here since just after it was released in Japan. I think the Jconcepts BJWE is next on my list though as they are willing to answer Q&A and that should make it more interesting to review.. I know there has been a lot of talk about the Impact so ive missed the boat on it a little, but ive kept myself utterly shielded from anything said about it so I can give it a fair review without anyone elses influence. Looking forward to it, already written a page or so on it, just not started the build..

Thanks for the kind comments, thats all I do it for.

Jimmy

I've used standard corally tubes on my motors for a long time now - it's great as you say for 'plug and play' changes.

For those who are interested in these connectors- bullet type 3.5mm connectors- your best place to buy it from is www.rc-monster.com
The owner's name is Mike Cronin, a very helpful and extremely knowledgeable guy when it comes to either electric or nitro.
He has these connectors in stock for a very nice price.
These connectors were actually made by Schulze, BTW.
