I'm getting ready to leave Japan and there is a hobby shop I go to all the time that is packed full of new and vintage items. I have been eyeballing a few kits for the past few years but never bought them. Since I'm leaving in about a month I figured I just go buy them. The first kit is a Kyosho Lumina dirt oval kit. The second kit is an original Tamiya Dyna Storm, kit number 58116. The third kit is a Yokomo YR-F2 Speacial, front wheel drive touring car. The best thing is that I got all three for just over $500 USD. The shop has a bunch more vintage Yokomo onroad kits, as well as some mor vintage Tamiya kits still. I may go back to buy a few more kits before I leave to sell on ebay but I haven't decided yet. I'll get a pic posted of the kits later tonight.

I went to a shop in Italy last year whilst we were there because my friend said he'd bought a new Yokomo 834B from them - but it was closed that day and we looked thru the back window to see old kit boxes etc but couldn't go take a look sob sob.

Back in my vintage collecting days I was in touch with a guy in the far east and he sometimes visited another country on business (don't remember which) and they had many old cars like PB, Yankee, etc. But he ended up losing his job and couldn't travel.

I did manage to get my new cat XLS from a shop in spain though - and they also had a new gold tub rc10 but I foolishly didn't buy it (they were fairly common at the time, and I have 2 already)

If you come across any YZ10 black wheels front and rear buy them for me and I will sort you out via Paypal.
