Default Smacker Chassis

Hello, I have an Ansmann Smacker (I think) and it has an aluminium chassis. When I look up Ansmann Smacker on the interweb thing it always comes back with the plastic type chassis and it makes it difficult for me to look up the right parts and any mods and stuff.
I presume that there were / are two types of Smacker.
I bought this a good while ago and it was used then so I do not really know what it is.
Could anyone please help with this?

The current Smacker..or now called the Master Smacker is an ABS chassis. I've never seen one with an alloy chassis..even the Smacker before the Master had an ABS chassis.

Are you sure you don't have a Reely Rhino .. the bodyshell does look very very close to the Master Smacker but it has an Alloy chassis and other parts.

Sorry I posted this once then I was asked for pictures and I could not work out how to add them so I have reposted

I added the front tower and the short mini dampers so when it rolls it dont dig in and break the tower.
Rear drive shafts are a mix of ansmann bits and losi, so is the hub?
thanks

It does have some parts that look a bit like a Smacker but I think it might be a Reely . The Ranger

If you check the pics in that link then you'll see the front and rear running gear is almost exactly the same as in your pics. I think though the previous owner has added their own parts like the front shock tower. Spares might be an issue for you...

Found some pics of a Ranger, might be a later model of what I have. I would still like to fined out exactly what it is though
Also found this but it lists it as a smacker http://www.tctrans.co.uk/vv377.html
so still not sure as if I look up smacker on forums or ebay or google it always shows the plastic chassis.
Life goes on

You do indeed have an Ansmann Smacker ... I was wrong, the Original Smacker did have the alloy chassis. The Master Smacker has the ABS.

The Smacker was replaced with the Master Smacker in 2009.

You can still get a few spares, I actually use the rear wing on my X-Pro

JE Spares still have many listing for parts as it does share with the Master Smacker. I also can CnC carbon fiber shock towers for the Smacker range if you are interested

I have both a Master Smacker and Royal Flash and love them

The Smackers PO code is AR122000001

Hope all that helps

Thanks you all for your help.
Kaylon has nailed it down for me as a 2009 smacker, I have now found a manual with some part numbers in.

What a great forum - thanks again
