Hi all,

Can anyone recommend modern 2.2 wheels for my Lazer ZXRR? Also batter straps and maybe lipo holders..

I'm also in the market for a new front tower with a bridge and body mount tab, will a Jamie Instone version work with the medium length shocks?

Cheers

Ray

Ftx vantage wheels are a perfect fit.
not sure on what length shocks the tower is for but I'm sure James himself will soon be along to answer your question.

Ok, well that front towers superb and aides you sometimes if you roll, thats what I use. Lipo holders, whats your idea, saddles or shorty? Saddles there are several options, one i believe and someone can correct me but think the associated B44 trays fit. Shortys are a bit different and have been given a design kindly by a gent on the RC10talk site and is a work in progress as he wasnt sure it could withstand much punishment plus may be expensive to make as its a 3d print. Let me know, i am not here to make anything from this, just want to share all to keep this car going at the highest level.

Welshy,

Probably saddles , not too fussed. I see you have developed some.bits for a mk 2

Happy to follow your direction. I'm going to be ordering from Fiberlyte in couple of weeks so if there is something available I'm keen to try.

Its a pleasure. Cant see the pictures but already got one, had four, 3 evos and one zxs, but now just one. Superb on clay and low grip, more so than the YZ10. Talking of this its such a small world, ive just emailed the zxs and the zxs evo manuals to retromodelisme so should be uploaded in the next couple of days. Doubt anyone outside of Japan has seen a zxs manual before.

Oh yes, in fact this car has a cool top deck which you will appreciate but the tub is a good one and easy to tidy up with a fine file.

Any info you've got on it james would be appropriated, is it a Fiberlitye tub as I've never seen one with Kevlar? It's got like a support on the rear under the box and I'd love to find a teamline front bulkhead.

What pitch are the belts are they M3? And if someone knows the tooth count that would help me find some to

Teamline didnt make a gearbox, however MMS did so might aid you in locating one. Its made of nylon. Belts are standard zxr belts.

Chassis is a fibrelyte chassis as they are the only makers, yes com com sold them but bought through fibrelyte, i got asked by the owner (Martin) if i wanted a percentage for everyone sold and stupidly said no, so long as they sell it cheaper to all who wanted it and boy they sold a few worldwide. Com com bought a few. This looks like a broken chassis thats had either a strengthening fix with new section added ontop of the broken section and would guess the kevlar tape was added to strengthen that area. I cut out mine and bolted across it but seems to be a good fix.

I could be wrong
