This question was asked a few weeks ago, but I can't find my reply as I have limited wifi at moment. If you search my posts in this section you'll find my link to a full kit on amazon. Works ok for simple stuff

Here is the previous thread I refered to

http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=162773

The post approx half wy down where someone gives an ebay reference number is still valid and the kits are £40 all in. I have the exact one and it is ok, but prefers thinner paint ( I.e. Fascolor or createx water based that has been let down with water. I'm told the best consistency is approx that of milk, while the paint is more like cream in its supplied state.

I must admit I've upgraded the compressor to one with a tank and a variable pressure, but the one in the kit worked ok for simple stuff.

My compressor now far exceeds my painting ability

Rcs liquid mask is about the best I've used. Can buy from rcs graphics or number5rc (mike Parker on here). I'm sure other places sell it too.

A "sharpie" fine marker pen helps for drawing design on outside of shell before cutting.

A hairdryer for drying coats of mask and paint. Or simply wait

Patience

Cheers for that, I've just bought some rcs liquid mask, and some cleaner, air brush kit end off the month, silly question when air brushing do you build the layers up like with rattle cans or or nice thin even coats then let dry cheers

I put one fine coat then hairdry each layer. Goes on much more smoothly and dries in no time. Typically I put 3-5 coats on, depending on colour or if trying to get an effect. BUT, I am no expert, more an enthusiastic amateur with occasional good results
