Default KF2 bits onto KF1

One of the guys at local club SHRCCC has just got one. Going to compare chassis's. May well be possible perhaps to redrill for these parts. But gearbox housing may be different?

If you look at the exploded diagram from Schumacher it states the alloy rear is U4616 which is the same part number as the new V2 reversible alloy block which fits the K1 and KF.

Have you failed to notice that Yokomo have brought out 4-5 different 2WD's since the B-max2 MR was released in 2011?

To answer you question before a silly person started talking about a yokomo, it will also need a chassis if you want to use the rear end.

Bottom line is that it's not going to be cost effective to try and convert, to be honest I don't think there is so much of a performance gain from the KF, what it does do is tidy it up a bit and makes it easier to work on and adjust. The KF2 is a great bit of kit though. I will probably get one sooner or later but I'm happy enough with my KF for now.

Have a look in Sunday if you're at Mendip Neal ... I'm sure there will be both KF's and KF2's to compare

Yes I will be there and keen to have a look, I hear you had a little mishap, the alloy replacements are the way to go, fit and forget as for the rears which have a 1 degrees angle built in, nice!

Because schumacher let you buy the most upto date item, buying the item that the team actually use! You don't get that from any other manufacturer
