Question Is there anyone out there?

If you are racing 1/10th off road in N.Ireland (or would be interested in doing so given the opportunity) please stick a reply on here.
Would be helpful to gauge numbers and interest.
Thanks!
Andrew.

Me and my brother race electric 1/10 off road, but drop inn has closed so there is now no suitable place for us to race unfortunately

Hey Jaime, thanks for posting mate.
I race at Drop-Inn too (Im Andrew - the odd guy with the beard)

Im trying to come up with somewhere else for us to race indoors and have some fun.

Thanks for replying, and I hope it encourages others to post here, as the more people are interested, the better chance I have of getting something set up.

Apparently drop inn has moved and the hall for us to race is too small so they organizers have decided to run some micro things, which im not really interested in so it would help alot if you did find somewhere for us too race, we also have another friend that comes along to the racing with us so there's 3 for you :P You should also post on some of the Facebook groups to get some numbers.

I would support any 1/10 off road venue in the north, another idea would be to make it big enough to accommodate 1/8 Eco cars as well as they are growing in numbers. Indoor would be ideal for over the winter months as you know water and electric not a good mix...

Thanks for coming back to me guys. Its encouraging when people at least get in contact.
Ive been given permission by a local school to use their sports hall on Friday night and/or Saturday daytime - which would be good.
Downsides are the cost and that no storage is available on site.

These issues probably mean it wont go ahead, but that doesnt mean Im going to give up looking for a good indoor venue.

Thats not actually true buddy. Thats what I thought too when I heard Drop Inn was losing its facility.
And its the reason I started this thread actually.

By posting up this thread, a few people have contacted me about 1/10th electric tracks (astro) operating in Northern Ireland below the radar. I didnt even know they existed before!

Its very encouraging to hear and proves my thinking that with just a core team, any club can make it and have a blast.

Keep in touch.
