Steve - as with all FORCC events everyone is welcome!
This is very much a fun event for the fete and much like the Help For Heroes event gives FORCC a chance to show everyone what we do. 2wd, 4wd and SC are all running on the day. No restrictions on tyres or motors, just run what ya brung. Surface is 100% grass by the way. I'll get more details this week and post on here. Date is Sat 29th June but I'll confirm times and postcode / address. We'll need to know who is coming, what classes you wish to race, PT numbers and whether you want a bacon roll or not :-)

Coming Soon, so stick it in your diary! Blean Fete Race Day, Blean Memorial Ground, School Lane, Blean (CT2 9JA, will get you close enough!) Please fill in the entry sheet when booking in at FORCC, send me an email: andybate_fbsl@live.co.uk or text (mobile no 07956030333) Name: 2wd/4wd/2wd Trucks: Frequency: Bacon Roll: Y/N Will be run as a FUN race day with 3/4 qualifiers and 3 finals. Qualifying will start at 10am and finish by 5pm (as the Folk Festival starts at 5.45pm-10.45) You will be able to drive onto the recreation ground to drop off your kit, but must remove your motor vehicle and park nearby (down School Lane). Please arrive between 8.30am and 9.00am. Fete starts 12.00-4pm. Looking to raise funds for the hall extension, so make it a family day and give as generously as you can. Racing cost £5 adults, £2.50 under 16s. (Please add a donation if racing more than one class) Bacon rolls for breakfast £2. REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR OWN LEISURE BATTERY OR GENERATOR TO CHARGE OFF. The BIG FUN Event this Saturday!
UPDATE:
We have 36 Entries, so far! If you have not already let me know you are definitely coming please do, so heats can be provisionally loaded. The 5ft banked table top has been astro turfed this evening thanks to Gary, Tracey, Rob, Les, Callum and Jack. Tomorrow evening jumps and ropes will be laid and the track tested. All helpers and test drivers welcome from 5.30 onwards. Hope Tracey loads the photos to wet the appetite, unless it is of me ripping my shorts!! Andy 07956030333

Track built and the 5ft banked astro table-top works great.
To All, please arrive from 8am to 8.45am, set up then park off the field by 9.30am. Nathan, I have secured a place for you to park your van close bye. Forecast is good so FUN, FUN, FUN! What a successful day!
Thank you to the 33 racers for your support and I hope you all enjoyed yourselves. BIG thanks to the track helpers, Tracey and Nessa for the excellent bacon rolls, teas, coffees and cold drinks, and Jon for race control. BIG BIG thanks to Jay for our innovative rostrum on wheels and the 6kw generator! We raised/donated a clear £192.50 to the village hall redevelopment! Tug of War, not sure I should give the result. Look at Jon's photos, and I hope Andy Ashman has good coverage on video! Cheers, Andy

What a bloody brilliant day, great racing, great weather, and a great track! I must say Andy, you done us proud with the track that you built this year, it must have taken you days to move 100 tonnes of rubble in your wheelbarrow, to build our magnificent feature at the far end of the track.
Big thanks to all the FORCC drivers that attended this meeting, something we are very good at, if not the best at, is showing the public just what we do, and how they can become part of it, which over the years we have achieved with many new drivers joining our ranks from such events, as after all, no clubs/venues would survive without new members. Regards tug of wars, what a result, three teams from FORCC, and the strongest and best looking coming out worthy victors in the end. Somehow I've ended up with the trophy at my house, just got to get it past Nessa so I can mount in on the wall in my bedroom Great pictures Jon, not enough of me though mate, something that needs to be rectified for our next outdoor event, which there will be many more of!
