Default How much are these worth? B44.1 C4.1

Hi Guys,

Apologies if this is in the wrong place, mods please move if so. Times are hard and I'm selling up, I only raced for half a year maybe 8 or 10 times and really enjoyed it but I need the money.

I have a B44.1 and a C4.1 with standard and carbon chassis but I don't know if I should split them down into their smaller parts or just sell each car as a whole.

Please can you have a look and tell whether to split them up or if I were to sell them as a whole how much I should be listing them for?

I've also got lots of spares wheels tyres and tools and chargers and other batteries. So in that sense it would be perfect for someone that wants to start racing.

Many thanks

Tom

Like splitting anything , it's more hassle but the gain's are far greater.

You can sell a race car as a whole but if you were to seperate the gearbox , suspension , roll cage and all the ancilliaries you'd have a greater chance of making more.

The same goes for Hi fi seperates , the same rule can be put to rc car's.

Am i right? i have allways done it that way.

I think it is unlikely you will find anyone wanting the lot in one go unless they were going to buy it in order that they themselves could break it up and sell it on.

I would advise selling each part individually in the for sale section. The prices are difficult to judge but all of these look in excellent condition so you should get a fair price. Look at what others are selling similar items for in the FOR SALE section. I have seen B44.1 rolling chassis for £135 on there and C4.1 rolling chassis for up to £200. Electrics are a bit more of a concern as they can go wrong and people have no warranty if they go pop after a few months.

Nice things though, I am sorry you are having to sell up.

Neil

Thanks Neil, that's what I needed to hear.....

It's all in great condition and I'm sure the few guys I've raced with and Ash and Minty from BMM and Mark Smith and Andy Cottam can all vouch for the quality and condition of the gear.

I'm going to split it all up and put it in the for sale section, I'm sad to leave having only raced a few times and enjoyed it but I no longer have the time and they're just gathering dust so hopefully someone can put them to better use and get more enjoyment from them. Thanks for peoples input and for everyone that sent me a PM. Please check the for sale section in the next few days

Tommy.

Thanks to all that PM'd me but I've just sold everything in one fell swoop.

All the best and happy racing in 2013

Tommy.
