Default 10.5 Gearing

Where should I gear a Novak 10.5 with 91t spur in the Durga?

Maybe start with a 20t pinion and see where you go from there, if its maxxing out half way down the straight, go up a tooth but just keep an eye on the motor temp. On a 6.5T Novak we run 17 (tight track) and an 18 just about everywhere else as its such a ball ache swapping pinions over.

I think a 20T is accurate. I would have to look at the gearing chart on the sticky thread above, but according to the Novak Brushless guide on their site, it should be around 8.0 FDR for 4WD off-road vehicles.

Im going to jump in and ask the same question for an eZrun 9t with 35A ESC

The hobbywing site doesn't really give any hints in regards to gearing of 1/10 4WDs.
