Default Today at Mansfield?

I'm thinking of coming down today as racing at batley is cancelled, but I've not been before, so I have a few questions please

1. I've joined brca but not got number through yet - will Thisbe a problem?
2. I used to race 25yrs ago, but just coming back (this will be first race) so will expect to be useless - is this a problem?
3. I have a 2wd teamc and a 4wd b44.1 . Can I use both, either etc?
4. What time is likely finish?

Anything else you think may help a returning newbie.

Thanks for all your help

No 4WD because nothing lives up to my original Optima. Until now maybe?...

Hi

I take my son down to Mansfield and will be there today, we are new also it is his 4th time but I will try to answer your questions as best I can.

1. As far as I am aware you are allowed to race 3 times without membership.
2. There are all skill levels there and quite a few newcomers.
3. They race 2 and 4wd at mansfield but not sure if you can enter both.
4. I think it finished around 6 last week with the doors opening at 2.

Hope those answers helped, I am sure one of the more senior members will give you more comprehensive answers but I thought I'd answer you in case they don't pop on

Thanks for that and to everyone for today. Really enjoyed it, albeit very slowly

Hi Chris,
Glad you enjoyed it, we do have drivers of lots of abilities at mansfield and its always good to have someone stepping into our sport/hobby and as you found out yesterday, returning after racing many years ago in our teens.
If you can make it on wednesday evenings, there are more people there and its not quite as frantic as you get longer between heats to do repairs and charge batteries and much more banter too.
Hope to see you racing again soon,

Tony
