novak gtb fan hitting body shell
hello all i have a rc10 b4 with the novak gtb speedo i can not put the shell on proply without it hitting the fan then stoping it. how does everyone fit theres in there buggy to solve the problem. i was in 2 minds to take the fan off can i do this? thanks carl

you can remove the little 2mm washers between the fan and heatsink. Or many people take the fan off and mount a smaller fan on the chassis pointed at the speedo.
in winter with a 6.5 or 7.5 then you could get away with no fan, but in summer heat it's best to keep some air flow

You need to mount the fan something like this:

I run my B4 indoors with a 6.5 without a fan with no issues, even running lipo. Also running the gtb
|

The fan in the pic is the Novak 25mm fan
(http://www.cmldistribution.co.uk/cml...tId=0000003055) The top of it is rounded off with a sanding drum. MiCk B. :-)
