Tekin RS? Mate is getting one for his Losi XX4

I have one in my Cat SX and it's got a tiny footprint

I'm running a Mamba Max controller in my XX4. I've ran it successfully both with a castle creations 4600kv motor and a Tekin 448 motor.

No modifications were required, but I am using LiPo stick packs, not saddle packs.

Avner.

Yes the RSpro has an narrow footprint and fit well into XX4. With 6.5T motor it will run without fan and that's a good point for your bodyshell

i had a LRP tc in my xx4 and it worked a treat, but make sure esc is pushed right back tho or the fan rubs the shell and sound like a swarm of bee's!

I'm using a Mamba Max in mine and fitting was made with ease. Saddle pack used.

There are 3 configs available:

Stick LiPo:
No room problem at all, except height if fan required (but you can mill 3mm off the heatshink).

Saddle LiPo (using Rx plate)
Same as sticks.

Saddle LiPo (without Rx plate)
With small Rx and ESC this config doesn't generate too much room problems. But when Rx or ESC aren't the smallest fitting becomes almost a nightmare.

Height, as always will be a bit of a problem.

I only recommend this one if imposibble to fit your LiPo's under the receiver tray or if you want to place brass weight under the batts.

In my case (no plate) With Mamba and Sanwa 411 fitted vertically it works. But packs only have 4-5 mm of adjust.

the Tekin RS-Pro is propably the one with the smaller footprint...and good stuff too.
