Club 10 layshaft bearings
I've nearly finished my club 10 rebuild, but have drawn a bit of a blank with layshaft bearings. I wanted to upgrade from bushes to ballraces.
Diff bearings were taken from my Procat spares stash, but internal diameter of layshaft oilite bushes are much smaller than Procat equivalents. Do standard, full fat, Cougars have a different shaft, or are different ballraces used? Thanks in advance for any info you chaps can give me. |

I think this photo speaks a 1000 words!
Obviously the aluminium 'top hats' sit inside the bearing to make up the difference between that & the dia of the layshaft

I forgot to say that there is also a bearing with a smaller internal dia, which is a direct fit - I'm assuming that Mick might have the parts you need.... But if not I think I have the items you need also

i used to use smaller ballraces inside the larger ones instead of the alloy bits, prp them in with a little bit of threadlock rubbed on the surface and theyll never give you any trouble, cant remember what size though, same as used on a pb maxima topshaft!!!
