HINCKLEY CLUBS 2015 OUTDOOR OFFROAD SEASON

Hi all,

Last Saturday(11th April), we saw the FIRST Meeting of Hinckleys 2015 Outdoor OffRoad Club Championships!

We were fortunate that a Heavy Rain shower was in the early hours of the morning, so by the time everyone had Arrived, the Grass was virtually Dry & the Weather had become quite Sunny, allowing a great days Racing!

As usual, there was a decent Turnout of 2WD Buggies but it was also nice to see a Full Heats worth of Short Course Trucks, courtesy of the Gang from the Coventry Club Attending.

The Layout of the Track was Fast & Flowing, but pretty Challenging in places, making the Racing Close & Competitive allday! With the Table Top Ramps & Jumps now being covered with Astroturf for this Season, it gave Fantastic Grip & Minimal Tyre Wear.........a vast Improvement over last Season!

We ran the usual Format.i.e Open Practice before we Started, then 4 Rounds of Qualifying(with your Best 2 to Count), followed by Finals. This time round, we managed to get 2 Legs for each Final as well, giving everyone Exceptional value for money!
