The dex210v3 is a rear and mid motor car. Good all round but compromised a bit in high grip.
Where as the 210f is for medium to high grip astro.
But should be good in the wet still.

Depends were you race mate? Is it a high grip Astro track like the two we are blessed with in the NW or a sandy bumpy mess like Mendip down south??

I have both a 210v2 and a Cobra 4210 which is the same idea as a 210f (210 front, 410 rear).
The 4210 is certainly quicker on our high grip track, but it's harder to drive and heavier on tyres. I find myself running the 210v2 more because it's easy, consistent and more flexible.
If you are a good driver the 210f would be the best but the 210v3 is much easier for novices or crap drivers like me.....

I ran my new dex210f last night on carpet for the first time and I pleased to say it went very well indeed. I added some weight and changed the oils and got it going very nicely. One issue I did have is I was unable to lower the car at the front to how I wanted it because the front springs seem too long. That aside I am very happy with it. I will mention that due to a small altercation with a novice racer I broke a front shock shaft. The impact wasn't that hard so it supprised me it broke but it did.

Car looked good last night Ade, very good for a fresh out the box build!
As i said ive read two posts now about broken shafts, but then it was a hard hit she took!
Very impressive mate, get the ride height sorted, and its only going to get better!

I was wondering if you had the -2 spring cup on? It should give you 2mm more to work with, also was it the dark blue kit spring? A lot of people including myself use the black front spring on the 210v3 which is softer and should be easier to get ride height with, i think chris doughty uses it on the 210f as well, i just ordered a set for my 210f

What Aidan means is....

Do you race on road (like the new flat featureless Southport track) or off road (like Mendip)?

It was more grip related than feature related.

I can't wait to try the new improved Mendip, when we visit for oOple.

The pictures look great, any updates from today?

It's too late to back out now. The damage has been done and you shall forever be know as the guy on oOple that randomly puts down the efforts of other clubs.

Lets take this to Pm's as we are taking up an active Durango thread, and they don't have many.
