The ultimate 2 stroke weapon is to put a rg500 gamma engine into a rg250 chassis, proper old skool gp bike! The fat americans go mad for them, but not as much as jellied doughnuts.

Does any one remember the Performance Bikes mag with the blue/white RGV250 home made thingy??

I had a 350LC, fecking awesome hooligans bike, loved it so much but had loads of problems with the oil pump I wonder if people still race the LC's?

I have a mag from last year which has a cagiva 125 with a 350 ypvs motor in it, rg 250 forks and loads of other mods. The block had some yagiva stickers made for it, from a distance it looked like vagina

In the YPM it's mainly 2ma Tzr 250, but we have about 6 RD350's and one of these was champion in 09 but they are tricky to ride as the handling is a bit strange? We also have a few LC and one TDR!

You all forgot the fastest stock one, Fantic Motor, GT6 on road Caballero off road, that would hit 50 without any tuning, my mate did carry a toolkit and spare crank in his backpack though
I was always a 4 stroker, so S550 no pedals and a nifty 90 head and barrel, plus a Dunstall power pipe ran under motor to stop passenger burning legs, it did me a 12 mile each way commute for a year no worries at speed.
Then a Honda CD175, the BSA replica with rubber and chrome tank panels and a bathtub rear mudguard, replaced with a Yamaha YDS7 250 with Amal 32 carbs, twin leading front drum did nose wheelies, and would lift the front in 5th all day long, those were the days.
