When are we starting work on the track ;-)
Are you going to put it out there to see what designs people would like for a track?
Maybe a compatition for track layout or even corner by corner ?

Is there anything that is needed say rope timber scafolding ...
Maybe time to start thats all so we are ready for sping summer
Last thing is it going to be staturdays up to start on it (when we do hehe):thum bsup:

Darren - it's intended that work will start on site as soon as the weather allows. We have to get some large equipment on site to start with and it's just not practical at the moment despite the good drainage offered.

We're going to look at other venues and take ideas from their tracks. The intention is to make a modular design that allows numerous variations of a single layout - i.e parts of the track can be moved to change the layout.

Good idea about naming parts of the track though - perhaps an idea for a raffle or something - those that get their names pulled get a part of the track named after them. Knowing my luck I'll get the toilets.........

As for what we need - speak to us on Wednesday as the list is endless We hope that all club members will come and help when the work parties start as if it's just left to "the few" it'll be too much to take on. All hands on deck if you like.

As soon as this damn weather plays ball though, we'll be up there inspecting the site and making plans.

Default Dave's Toilet!

Dave could be Hog Bog!

Tom and I will help with the manual work, and look for donors of equipment and material, once a wish list has been drawn up.

Andy

True that the club is not a bottomless pit of money and things like screw and nails etc people might have lying around or over time can pick up from places so would be good ( yer yer i know screws nails but there is alot of stuff people dont think about )

Been thinking what i could get off the farm to help out with the new track and the best i can come up with is to move some of the sheep up there and never again will we need to cut the grass.

Good idea or what boys?
