LRP Flow X TC vs offroad

Hey everyone,I have a flow X TC spec (v4.1 firmware) and I was planning on using it in my 13.5 blinky 2wd carpet buggy.The firmware for the offroad version of the flow X is not available to download and I'm not too keen on buying the data bridge for £35 either.Has anyone used the TC spec version in a buggy and what are the differences in the firmware?Is it essential?Thanks very much!
