Thanks to everybody that came - it was great turnout and everyone was into the spirit of the day. Sorry if a few people weren't quite in the right heats but I've updated the database with more accurate details on how good you are!

The 2wd A Final was awesome to watch, gutted for Matty who could have nailed it right to the end.

The cakes are great - far nicer to eat then trophies

Thanks to Neil in particular for organising.... well basically everything except the drivers!

snap, round 1 lap one and broke. bit of glue and duck tap managed to get 2 rounds done and finish 2nd in final.

Thanks for all the great comments above, glad the day went so well.

I can see cakes becoming the new trophy :-)

Thanks to Si, Rob and Mark for being part of a top notch Bury team and to all the other members that helped out throughout the day.

Think we have shown the way on how to run a 10th scale meeting ;-)

I hope you will run this meeting every year. It gives some of us that kick up the back side to give things a try again, and for local top drivers I would suspect some bragging rights. Really enjoyed it, wish my car/driving ran as smoothly as the meeting did.

I really should try and make it to some regular meetings as running indoors on carpet really makes me appreciate the skill it takes to get round an outdoor track... Bit out of my depth today when it came to skill, but very impressed by so many.

Thanks to all at Bury.

Absolutely fantastic day yesterday and so proud of the organisers, namely Neil, Si, Mark and Rob but so many of us Bury members (myself included) have helped revive the club since the sudden death of Mr Bury Metro himself, Roger Wood. It's a great feeling for myself as a Bury Member to hear people enjoyed themselves.

Thought the track layout was excellent, challenging and flowing so thanks to Rob Mills and Woody for that. A real good standard of driving throughout the day also, the A Final was something special but even down to the E final it was great to watch. Food was great as always and couldn't have wished for better weather...in Bury! One of the wettest places in the UK!!

Hopefully next year can be bigger and better still! 2 day event anyone? Haha!

Chris
