Default Parts.

Hi Benson,

Parts are hard to come by in shops Benson. There are a few on ebay occasionally but some are very very stupid prices.

Theres a battery bar on there at min. He wants 38.00 plus postage I got one for 3.15 plus 2.00 post.

I know, I watched a bettered and brusied B3 go on ebay 2 weeks ago for £117.

I'll keep my eyes open...

I've noticed parts from the states on ebay are cheaper than here in the UK, that might be my only option.

If I can get mine to look anything like yours I'll be well proud.

Nice restore, I recently bought one off northy, then won a job lot off eBay, I've bought a tbg proline shell. Now the question is do I go easton, padavis, cragg or drescher paint scheme?

Cheers Westie,

Got to be Cragg or Drescher. I was going to do Cragg as I have Drescher and Cull RC10s, but getting the red right is a pain as most look brown in metallic..... I also have the B3 sticker sheet new in packet but couldnt bring myself to open it, let alone cut and put the B3 stickers on.......

I say Drescher................

Thanks, here are the other two shelfers. I don't get to show them off, so your thread gave me a chance. Cheers.

It's turning into an AE forum now looks good Mark I too have been looking at these on Ebay and you can pick up a bargain now and then.
As for the decals I might know someone who can help I'm going to send mine off to see if he can copy them so I'll let you know 😉
