Default Important notice! track cutting...

ok due to me being able to put in a 21.8 second lap by cheating on the new CML raceway... and cuz alot of people cant help themselves..... im going to input a new rule....

just the same as a BRCA national if you are caught track cutting.. 4 wheels off the track, you will lose your time.. i will be checking replays from now on so be careful.....

Which bit you cutting? I find that if I cut a bit on the corner before the banking, then I can get a pretty good time. But if I do a legal lap, then the best I can manage is 22.66.

Does that mean that all the other fast times are illegal?

cos to be honest, I've tried a clean lap all ways...fast and sliding, slow and controlled, braking, not braking etc. etc. and thats the best I can get.

I can probably get it a bit faster, but not much.

But you do have to have at least two wheels on the track at all times.
Mr Truman will be watching!

On the jumps im trying to cut it too fine lol. Only just off line so low 22's are legally doable, not sure on that being consistant though

I'm far from consistant.

Just did a 22.58 but the rest were 23's.

But I did manage to jump it into the spectator stands!!...BLOODBATH!! well worth trying!!

The bit I was talking about in the other thread was going inside the doubles in the middle of the track (driving over the oOple logo).

When I had a go on Friday I could get pretty low 22's without cheating, but I doubt I'll be able to (legally) get into 21's.

Sorry about the cutting issue folks, I guess I needed to test the map a bit more before I sent it for inclusion!

I break on every corner, sideways into corners and power out. The most time is made up on the first two jumps and jump before the banking, get them right and quick laps follow.

Yep, yu need to get the first jumps right.
Does anyone use the banking?

I think the track needs more short checkpoints on places where track can be cut.

Mole2k, Did you do the overall map in a different program or in the track editor?
