We should maybe do a plank of the week. The biggest plank at racing each week gets to drive around in a 1988 nissan micra, painted pink and advertising the the club/venue to generate interest.

A good investment for a few hundred quick, and a laugh at the same time.

I know this may be short notice but we are going to have a meeting at the new venue this Wednesday evening at 7.30pm.
Basically we need to see what interest there is from people and also to let everyone see what it’s like inside.

The link below goes to a google map with the venue shown on it,

We’d appreciate it if people can make the effort to come along and show there support, for this venture.

Thanks

Peter

A quick update

We've hit a few issues with the CASC application to assist us with the rates, unfortunately this is meaning quite a lot of work behind the scenes to try to get this moving.

It does mean trying to get the HMRC and Sport England to change policies that have existed for over 10 years, so if you have ever dealt with these national government bodies you will know this is not an easy task. We were declined the CASC application but I'm not the type to give up without a fight

Yes we're still interested in the unit, we know you all still are too just it's taking longer than we had hoped. Will be in touch when we hear anything positive.

Regards

Marsha
