Default Considering a Durga, any issues?

Hi all I am looking into a Tamiya Durga as my Evader EXT is not behaving, continually killing spurs and other drivetrain issues no matter what I do (have rebuilt it SO MANY TIMES) am running a Mamba Max 5700 on 6 Nimh cells and want a car that can take it.

I know the Durga uses similar diffs to the TA05 which I know how to build (raced a TA05 for ages so have it down to a bit of an art) and am hoping the belt drive will be less strain on stripping areas.

Any suggestions / ideas?

I have chewed 8 spurs on the EXT this month, spent $$ putting in Nitro evader tranny idlers etc and still continual issues, I've had it!

get the slipper cluth and when when of the after market firms release them, alloy suspension holders and it will be rock solid.... oh, and read oople's reviews, and get an M3 tap, makes life a lot easier.
