Tamiya Shock oil
I have been looking some time now for a Comparison chart for TAMIYA oil with other brands, preferable Asso Shock Oil.
On several attemps I have not found such a chart. I found others, comparing other brands of shock oil, but never comparing with Tamiya oil. Now .. from what I learned about these oils and the ways they are "typed" ... I might think the numbers Tamiya uses, might be the sameas the Cts-value (Centistokes, see here ) If so, I could compare themwith other charts giving the Cts-valueofother brands of oil, as I found here Does anyone have some more info on this?

yup, that's why I plan to switch to Asso Oil, which I already use for my B4 and other buggies.
But, I do have some setups for my Tamiya-car and the shock-oil makes an important role in this, that's why I would like to know which Asso oils are similar to Tamiya-oils 300, 400, 500, 600, 700 and 800

Much better page here http://www.twf8.ws/php/index.php?opt...per&Itemid=175 in the end wt means jack. tamiya is most probably following the cts scale since the values are in the correct range and it originates from japan. the info on the page would give you enough info to correctly mix for any occasion! Even includes temperature compensation!!!! Cheers
