For Ben's question about tyres, last year I used BB greens to win the first round at Boughton in the wet, Schumacher yellow mini spikes to win the second round there and one round at Coastal, both in the dry.

Used DBoots Mulitibites in A compound to win the last dry/damp round at Colchester.

MERCC in the dry is DBoots time, nothing else really stays together long enough to finish a race there.

Eastrax, not sure, haven't been there for 5 years or so, but BBs or Schuey minis should work.

Herts is going to a tough one, yellow minis worked well last week in the cold and damp at the start, and in the dry later on. Some peeps were running micro spikes and were fast, but might be hard to hold on to for 5 mins. BB whites are supposed to work to.

ARC, don't care, not going, unless I really have to

Well maybe a control tyre may be worth looking into for next year? Possibly needs discussing at this years agm? Agree with Jon though, maybe a choice of two, it would certainly make the racing more interesting.....

Why not go the full hog and run silver cans.

Leave it as it is otherwise racers will not bother doing the regionals.

All we want to do is have a days racing, if you win or lose it dosn't matter.

There's enough rules already. We need to encourage people to take part not to tell them little johnny cannot play today because he has the wrong tyres.

As the saying goes "if its not broken don't fix it"

Sorry. I'll post no more on the subject. Case closed.

Wish I could be at round 1, unfortunately Vegas is slightly more appealing

Legend!

PS - If you're win has influenced just 10% of Roper's and Brady's spend, then Durango got a deal of the century!

Have you considered opening an RC tyre museum? I think it was at Colchester you pulled out some tyres from the original Ford Model T.

Just a quick update on the tyre choice for Holbeach.

Tony, the man behind Eastrax, has recommended exactly the same as JCB - but with the following couple of additions:

2WD - Dry - Rear
dBoot - Multibyte (Slightly quicker but harder to drive than Schumacher Yellow)

2WD - Wet - Front
Ballistic - Minispike - Green
For Damp/Wet - same as Jonathan Brown

For those running short course:

Dry - Korse King
or
Wet - Unknown.

Tony (dadtc3) will have a selection of tyres for sale trackside, should you need it.

In addition

EMS Racing (checa) have also expressed they will be supplying "tyre bargains" trackside.

If anyone wants to know what brought down the Cypriot banking system. It was the single day, multiple transaction investments made by one man: in black rubber commodities, 2.2" Plastic-Wheel futures, Foam-Hedges and Glue-Bonds (pun intended).

Heron investments is looking for new capital, you can contact them at
