well dne to all the the winners of their respective classses was some good clean racing out there! have too say a big welll done to david poulter who has never ran a 4wd. he amazed me and a few others. he borrowed my yokomo and took to it like a duck in water he qualified 3rd and finished 3rd in the brc with some very close racing! that car was just awsome the fastest thing on the track i think many would agree.

had a fun weekends racing , not the best track ive ever raced on, very random but it was the same for everyone, but it did make for some interesting racing..
didnt do as well as hoped but i know theres still room for improvement and change of driving style also ...
well done to Nick G on his 2wd title very well deseved mate ..
and Stan 4wd on sunday, (didnt lose your bottle )
also Dan in his 4wd U16 Win, very well deserved and under pressure in the last leg also, very mature drive .. (think you aged you Dad 10 years in the last leg)..

Well done to Stan for 4wd and making 2wd so close - we had an awesome first leg and between us had a good laugh at all the bets and expectation being heaped on us both

Massive well done to Dan Cockill for 4wd yesterday, drove really well under pressure and we all know how hard that is to do - poor Jon looked in physical pain in both the last round of qualifying and that 3rd leg .

Good results for Trish making both B finals too, Wraggy looked good with the S4 yesterday and i'm sure will be better at Coventry!

Well done to Matt Latham and young Greg for their wins also, some great driving in all the finals.

Thanks very much to Lee, Trish, Dave Duggan, Tony and Phil Truman, Jon Cockill, Dan & Joe, Wraggy, Ryan, Jon Spencer, Millzy, Southwell & Kev Lee for the fun and frolics pitting together both days and for all the help everyone gave me.

Good weekends racing i think despite the track being quite tricky but as Wraggy said it was the same for all so we can't knock it too much. Look forward to Coventry now then!

Hands up who's knackered?!

I'm beat... and I didn't even pick up my Transmitter once! What a lot of finals... but some really great racing on what was a very tough track and surface. Well done to all the BRCA officials there, you couldn't tell the boss was missing!

Some really great performances... all the junior guys (all 17 of them in total across the 2 age groups ) did a great job, clean racing, particularly the under 16's, very courtious and between them, Matt Latham, Tom Moore and Dan Cockill put on a great battle all day, any one of them could have taken it either day, but Matt and Dan in 2wd and 4wd respectively did the business so well done guys!

BRC... Nick Goodall, Stan, and Brett Birch each qualified very well in 2wd, Stan never got an honest crack at taking pole by breaking it on his warm up lap of round 4... D'oh! But Nick was a worthy TQ and winner... very good stuff, welcome back! Nick Oliver... Mate, well impressed with the way you kept your head in 4wd... only finishing 2 qualifiers but taking the pole was really good... the finals were a disaster for you, you were officially the unluckiest guy there in 4wd not finishing a leg, but you showed your pace in leg 1 by building up a safe lead after just a couple laps. Stan, well done on the win, I know you don't have much 4wd experience but you pulled it out the bag... made REALLLLLLY hard work of leg 2 lol but you got to the line 1st and that's what counts! Dave Poulter... really well driven, don't think you have much 4wd experience either but on another day the title could easily have been yours, very very fast driving.

Really enjoyed the weekend, the track was 'a challenge' but all in all the venue was pretty cool, a bar on site is never a bad thing! Oh and I should mention that I had a fantastic mixed grill on saturday night from the little pub up the road, top draw, and thanks to everyone elses dislike for black pudding, got extras too! OJ... how's your eye? Shouldn't really eat outside when it's dark.

Cheers Silverstone, see most of you at Coventry... DER DA DER DA DER, DER DER DERRRRRRRRRR... DER DA DER DA DER, DER DER DERRRRRRR!

Yardy

Firstly guys thanks for making the ref job so easy for me and the team this weekend, we only gave out one warning all weekend

Secondly, I'm was really upset with the way the track was all weekend and I couldn't get the car round properly at all. I don't think I drove badly or did I....

Finally, what a great night Saturday night was!! Ring of Fire will be the new racing 'tune' for a while. Ash apologies about turning the lights off in the toilet but I really don't remember going the toilet with Stan on Saturday night. I'd also like to mention Andy Fraser for his antics on the Saturday night, I'm not sure if I should be conplimenting him or not!

Had a top weekend, late Saturday/Racing Sunday, thanks to all the efforts of the organizers! I feel I under qualified once again but managed to win the F final from 7th on the grid, good battle to the line with someone both of us crashing/crossing the line on our roofs. Was good fun, enjoying driving over a large pile of cars at the first corner… mint.

I seems to have lost my jacket last seen being worn by a drunk Millzy on Saturday night, if anyone picked it up let me know please? ta

Big thanks to Tony for being McDonalds taxi driver all weekend… two step!

Id just like to say thanks for all the Ref's! And everyone else for running the meeting, As most of them are doing it for nothing in return, And if we didnt have people like these, We wouldnt have any meetings like these!

Cheers for the comments on the refs guys, most appriciated. I'd like to take this oppotunity to openly thank Tom, Craig and Mike for their help and also to Nathan Rawles who did offer to help ref and wasn't required.

There were a few grumbles over the weekend but I think they were all resolved as and when they become public.

Well, we had a great weekend's racing, the only cloud being the track cutting up, seemed to be worse on Saturday, rerouting for Sunday improved it, but it was "same for all" and all coped. Difficult with grass and the recent weather, a few weeks ago the camping/pitting area was under water, that little stream at the back of the rostrum had overflowed !!

Silverstone club guys worked hard all weekend and it seemed to me everything went well, lots of room for camping/pitting, hot food all day (well done that man), toilets & bar, and a first time national here so lots to be learned. Well done and thanks to them, and to the BRCA mob, to call them efficient would be understating, and the ref’s on the rostrums, more guys doing good work making our weekends racing more enjoyable.

We have done the last four Juniors/Vets, and did think adding other finals was packing the day out a bit too much, how wrong could I be, what a good idea that was, added to the event and fitted in perfectly. –That’s me finished saying thank you-
