Well done to everyone on the track building, race control, commentating and of course the Moto Arena for the excellent facility ............ all was spot on.

I'm glad I pushed to get the chilli on the menu, everyone seemed to enjoy it, and hopefully the Cafe made plenty of pennies out of it too. Amazingly I didn't have any again as her-in-doors reminded me as I left the house that we were at my daughters for dinner Saturday evening and we were having CHILLI .......... typical LOL

Looking forward to the next one, it promises to be excellent.

Keep up the good work everyone.

Remember that there's racing every Tuesday evening at this excellent venue and all are welcome. This Tuesday should be busy and remember you'll need to get there early for a pit space .............you know what these Germans are like with putting there pit towels down

Really enjoyed the meeting on Saturday, big thanks to the Silverstone & Moto Arena guys for a great day.

I didn't do particularly well, but as it was my first big-ish off road meeting for about ten years or so & my first with a new car (I did a couple of meetings last year with a vintage RC10), I didn't do too bad.... I just can't get used to how big the jumps are these day!!lol! Think a few changes to the car & with some practice, I hope to improve next time

The only criticism i'd say is that you couldn't hear the start numbers being called out by the computer at the far end of the rostrum (away from race control) where I was standing. Alot of the time I think we were guessing when to start on the stagger, causing some confusion!

P.S burger & chips was well yummy!

TBH, I dont think i heard or understood anything said on the PA all day.
We was outside the pitting area though.
Still managed to get to our heats on time and start ok though

The track was excellent, one of the biggest indoor tracks I have ever raced on- you don't get many where laptimes are over 20 seconds long. I thought the layout was challenging, but really rewarding when you nailed a good lap.

Only comment I have is, I thought the chicane on the entry to the straight could be reconsidered- I think certainly in practice it caused a lot of issues as it wasn't easy to judge so far away and led to vehicles hitting it and lying in the middle of the straight. With the dark tarmac and grey carpet, it was difficult to see upside down cars on the main straight which led to some breakages. Possibly just make it a slower chicane where by you have to use a lot of steering or use that element nearer the rostrum.

Apart from that, everything was really great and thank-you for a good day out.

Tom Yardy
Cheers Tom, noted!! Could'nt agree more and you're not the first to point it out.
Thanks for your comments and a great driving lesson for us last week
