Default YZ2 Nozzle Wing Mount

Hello Drivers,

I have made a Nozzle Wing Mount 3D printed for those who wish one.
I know there is the Proline model...but still not available...so

Wing on photo: Finnisher RC10B5 Front Wing - Narrow Ref: 148

To place an order : http://shpws.me/LWWY

And a little tutorial to install correctly your front wing :
1) On graph paper draw a square 2cmx2cm, as shown:

2) Make marks on the wing

3) Superimpose the wing on the graph paper

4) Pre-Drill

5) And Drill

What do you mean by "rear skid plates" ?
...something to protect the rear end of the chassis ?

Yeah I had a t-bone skid plate on my b5m just to stop damage on the back edge of the alloy chassis due to landings, and also stops it tearing through the chassis skin etc, came with slightly longer screws to adjust for the extra thickness.
It reduced the ground clearance just at the back by 2mm but no effect to the ride height, been after one for my k2 also but don't think anyone does such a thing.

Looks good that. How durable are then? I've seen quite a few different front wing mounts take a beating and break with an impact, including the proline one.

Try a bit of Kydex, easy to cut and sand, just drill and countersink, can be formed with heat easily too, tough as boots!

For now no breakage...but I will distribute some wing mounts at a National race on dirt.
We will see if something never seen before, happen...

Bought two and broke them both. Woth it being 3D printed I think it just flexed that bit too much. The part fit was good though but the strength isn't quite there in my opinion.

Cheers
Chris

Hi Drivers,

I have made some changes on the Nozzle Wing Mount regarding the feedbacks :

-Thicker geometry
-New material available : Alumide (polished and Not polished = Plastic + Aluminium )
-One more Nozzle Wing Mount on the Kit
