Hi,

I don't have an rc car yet, and I'm thinking it might be best to talk to some people in the know before I lay down any cash. I'm in Middleton, and am interested in 10th off-road, so your club is very conveniently located for me!

Would it be possible for me to drop in on the meet on the 31st, to be that awkward guy who knows nothing and nobody, and just kind of wanders round trying to overhear conversations and making people a little uncomfortable?

Actually, I'll try not to do that...but I can't promise...

Yes that not a problem. If you enter though the main doors and just keep walking down the corridors you'll find us easily enough.

Ask for me (Si), Mike, Mark or Rob and we'll take you though what goes on.

More the merrier as for cars their are a lot available at the moment 2wd would be the best class to go in as running costs are cheaper than 4wd.

@Maddy, cheers, I'll do that!

@Madmax, 2wd is what I was thinking, so that's good. At the moment, I'm just surfing to try to find out as much technical,info as I can, try to familiarise myself with available kits, what's up with tuning and upgrades (hop-ups? Or is that just an Americanism?).

The problem is, at the moment, I want every kit I see ! Hence why I'm looking for some guidance

Let's hope I can keep away from the "Add to Cart" buttons between now and when someone can knock some sense into me
