Default Pinion gear for Kyosho Rudebits DB2 6.5T motor

Hi,

I have a 78T spur (stock), what do you recommend for a medium size but tight track for pinion gear? I currently have a 21 tooth pinion ready to go on a 6.5T motor in this car. I read many people running 24/25 tooth on a 7.5T motor - that seems high gearing to me.

Cheers
Simon

Default

I'd start with a 23T and go from there. I run a 23 with 6.5 in my ZX6 too
