Default Are Futaba 4PLS/4GRS Radios Region Locked?

Hi All,

I heard a rumor recently that 4PLS and 4GRS radios are region locked. i.e A UK transmitter won't work with imported receivers and vice versa. Can anyone confirm or quash this for me please?

Cheers,
Jon.

Default Don't think so

I don't think so, I've used a receiver from the states with mine without any problems.

There maybe be regional versions, as there are different limits on transmission powers depending on where you live.

I very much doubt that there are any other differences, like local versions of receivers.

Checking the part numbers of the receivers might give you a clue as to whether there are regional variations.
