b max 4 3 shock question
can any body advise me of the pistion sizes of the x 12mm shock pistons.mine are fitted with 4 hole and are tapered yet I cant see what size the holes are in the pistons i.e. 1.6mm ect ect

Id buy some 2 hole 1.6 and 1.7mm pistons if i were you. I think kit pistons are 4×1.2mm and 4×1.3mm

big help mr H.so that's what ive done to sort it out. N all this time ive been blaming it on my driving

2x1.6 is the way to go. Go a bit softer on springs and oil and you have a great handling B-Max4.

Haha, mine is great now. Was pushing round some very fast lads this weekend.
ive settled on orange kit front spring with 1.6mm 2 hole and 35wt oil. orange x gear rear spring with 1.7mm 2 hole and 30wt oil. 1.8mm roll bar on the back and front top links shortened and on the outer most hole (chassis side) Cars mega indoors like this. |
