Just wanted to say thankyou aswell. This was my first ever race, I finished last and only did 1 and a half races after frying my speedo. I really enjoyed it though and everyone was really helpful. I will definatly be back, especially after winning the raffle, for which I would like to thank Answer-RC-Pete for his honesty and also for helping me throughout the day. Also thanks to stu, Roger and everyone who ran the day, it was a great introduction to the hobby for me.

Bury was great! I liked the track but couldn't manage that double in the middle with my 4wd, think i ran out of talent there

Gonna be back for some more rounds if time permits

Great day's racing. Shame I misjudged the journey time and arrived nearly an hour before the doors opened.

Even though the track was compact, it raced extremely well. I agree with Mr Lowe about the four hump section in the middle, the up slopes need to be abit stronger, to stop random bouncing on take off. Apart from that the meeting was excellent, run smoothly and away nice and early.

I did mention to WoOdy about possibly running the track 90deg to Sundays layout, and making use of the recessed section of the building. That would give a straight about the same as Sunday, but also more track depth. Rostrum could be placed where we pitted Sunday and pitting could then fill the top end of the room. I think that idea would all depend on the movement of the fancy gymnastics flooring

Wow, I managed all that post without mentioning the random back maker who "jumped out" infront of me, managing to pop-off almost every ball-joint of the front of my car. Oh well, still a great meeting Did I mention LiPo are ACE

Was that in the final? I saw Stu Hurley valiantly trying to piece it back together - the 2WD 'A' did look a bit like the first day back at school

I must say sorry for my track cut in the B final I got mullered over the big jump after a good start and I lost it for a second. After Rog shouted I slowed right down to the back of the field and carried on with my race. I hate this kind of thing so it wont happen again. The X5 is bloody ace only been two meetings with it so I am not counting my chickens lets hope it carrys on.

You mean with the straight going away/towards us as we're standing on the rostrum?

For me that's a big NO NO been there done that it makes it too far and even worse with buggys, mode difficult to judge the jumps.

Don't be silly, all you can ever ask of a marshall is that they've tried their best. Afterall you're not really there to fix cars.

Be glad it wasn't as knackered as the pred that got lamped flat out, ouch!

Must apologize again for my driving in the 4wd B, took the same car out twice. Couldn't do much about the first as I was trying to avoid a crash, but the second was really bad driving, plus I didn't wait for it to be marshalled. Sorry again to the guy involved!
