Orion charger topping out at 8.19v
Hi all,
I've got an Advantage One Duo - great little charger but recently I've noticed that the lipos are topping out at 8.19v on each charge. I've got 2 differing styles of lipos, 2 of one sort, 3 of another, and they are of differing ages. So the point of commonality is the charger itself. Has anyone else had this kind of problem with an Orion or know if there is a setting anywhere that may have forgotten about the remaining 0.2V? Thanks in advance Chris

I have an Orion touch charger so presuming it has the same features I'm guessing You need to look in setup menu for cutoff voltage per cell
This should be set at 4.20v I'm guessing if yours are cutting out at 8.18 then you are set at 4.09v Hope this helps.

Hi
yeah I had the same thing happen... drove me mad for a while, it was off the club generator first of all, then when I charged off of a 12volt battery tried with another generator and it was fine...also when I charged at home it was fine I came to the conclusion that if the voltage is not at its peak, then it charges slightly under to compensate
