Default Big thanks

Thanks for every body getting through the snow yesterday. Had a really good turn out and I enjoyed the racing too. Got a little fed up with people not telling me that they went home duering the day because all I got was people shouting at me for marshells. It is only ment to be a club day and not seriouse. Hope you all got home safe and see you all in the New Year

It was a good laugh! Great track again too Stu.

My damn Mondeo is a pig in the snow with wide tyres, getting up that slope was impossible til Wayne Eley dragged it up with his Mitsy. . Fun though. Cheers Wayne!!

I tend to take it out on the people I love. Sorry. Ask the wife and the dog.

Thanks for the great layout. Having struggled to get there for two hours I was a bit hacked off to get a call from the wife to say she was stuck in the snow at home, hence leaving after the second race. I have a rear wheel drive BMW which are crap in anything slidy and it took two and half hours to get home. I did specifically let Roger know I was leaving early, but sorry again about not being available to marshall.

This was not aimed at people who came and told us but the ones that went and didnt. Snow is snow and family comes first.

Default The yellow bibs

I think we did ok.
The bibs did make it easier to see who was marshalling and therefore a lot easier to call on volunteers. (thanks to all those that did)

And the winners of the raffle are at :- www.bmrcc.talktalk.net/images/Winners20Dec.JPG

Default airmiles

sounds good . and expensive .dunno how much stinger parts are i will have to find out which rubber factory there made in, but if we could find a sponser. and borrow some skate park ramps ,we can get it on . and the long jump sand pit at chadderton could have its uses

Yeah I am well up for trashing my car, it's repairable so what the hell.

Loved the track though this week, having the straight in place is really good and all the other sections worked very well. I wonder if a step up jump could be made?
