Default Nitro X Cross Rds 1 & 2 Booking in open LMCC April 6th and 7th

Booking in for rounds 1 and 2 of the Nitro X Cross summer series to be held at LMCC on April 6th and 7th is now open! You can book in at www.nitroxcross.co.uk now! PLEASE NOTE: Each day is a separate round of the series, Round 1 Saturday, Round 2 Sunday. If you are competing in both rounds please book in for both rounds! The series is an open tyre event with an additional controlled tyre series. The controlled tyres are again the JC offsets or duels, if you are entering the controlled tyre series please choose this when booking in. Classes include Nitro Rally X, E Rally X and Truggy and trophies will be awarded at the end of each day for top 3 in each final, top controlled tyre class, top truggy and top E Buggy. We look forward to seeing you all at LMCC for Round 1 of this great series!

1 The series will be over 14 rounds (7 two day meetings)
2 The best 8 scores to count.
3 The series will be run as follows –
Main open series (all drivers to score points whether running control tyre or open tyre)
Controlled tyre series (tyres to be confirmed)
Juniors (under 16 at start of series)
Older generation (over 40 at start of series)

4 Central booking in for all rounds, the 2 show rounds entries must be followed up with a S.a.e. for passes to be sent out, no envelope no pass and you will have to pay on the gate.
Entry list to close Friday before race day.
A Pay Pal account will be set up and an option of prepay or pay on the day will be available
Entries will be accepted on the day but all entries will be in the first heat no matter what the assumed ability.
5 Entry fees
Pre booked
£10 PER CLASS PER DAY
2 Days or 2 classes £15
Non pre booked
£12 per class per day
2 days or 2 classes £17

6 Points to be awarded on Qualifying and finals
100 for TQ 99 for 2nd and so on
100 for 1st “a” final 99 for 2nd and so on
Points for the age classes will be on the same basis
Points will be posted on the Nitro X Cross website as quickly as possible after the event.

7 Trophies to be presented for each race day to the first, second & third placed driver in each final and for the age classes and first, second & third in the control tyre class.

8 All events to run to the same format
Qualifying format is FTD
1 round of timed practice
4 rounds of 6 minute qualifiers
A Final 25 Minutes
B Final 20 Minutes
C Final 20 Minutes
D Final down 20 Minutes
A lunch break will depend on the entry and will be announced at drivers briefing.

Trophies will be supplied by the Nitro X Cross series and invoiced at cost to the event organisers.

Organisers

Nitro X Cross will take £1 per driver per day from the entry fee to pay for end of series trophies
All events will ensure that adequate toilets are available and one toilet dedicated for females.
Nitro X Cross will supply a team for race control and clubs must supply an experienced race director.
Clubs will list what facilities will be available at their event I.E. Catering, drinking water electric power or camping facility’s and what time the gates will be open.

Event organisers are encouraged to find an event sponsor to –
A. Raise the profile of the Nitro X Cross series
B. To help the club afford trophies at each round

Clubs should encourage their club members to enter and support the series and enter early to allow the organisers of the events to plan their facilities.
Referees will be provided from the drivers i.e. one driver will not marshal but will act as a referee and one less marshal point will be on the track than drivers in the heat.

Dont forget that discounted booking in closes at midnight on Thursday 4th of April for rounds 1 and 2 of the Nitro X Cross summer regional series to be held at Ledbury Model Car Club on the 6th and 7th of April. Any entries received after Midnight will be charged the full entry fee and placed into heat 1 regardless of ability. Heats will be seeded by the ability you entered when booking in. We will publish the heat lists on Friday for all to see. We look forward to seeing you over the weekend for a fun filled couple of days racing!
