Default Great News

There has been much turmoil amongst the top U.K. drivers over the last month or so, with several A main guys leaving various teams. We've gotten to know Ellis pretty well over the last five years even though he's on the other side of the pond, and this signing proves Ellis values the long term relationship.

He was a big part of the design team on the 6 Squared, an equally big part of the team on the X - 7, and the go-to guy for testing on both projects. Everyone in U.K. runs the "Ellis set-up" on the X - 6 Squared -- the car is absolutely dialed. We think The Big E is the very best U.K. driver for testing and development work.

As is mentioned somewhere else, Ellis ran the 7 at an EPR club race with excellent results -- he won with a very fast car -- and he is holding our feet to the fire to get the X - 7 done. Ellis will be at Ardent raceway for the kick off of the Scotty Ernst/RedRC European series, and we expect to have all the latest changes for the X - 7 in his hands before then.
