I was shocked to find out that a great driver and a great person has decided to give up as he has been a great help to me and so many drivers at my local track SHRCC, l would like to take this opportunity to point out that l only started racing 2 years ago and on my first night l broke a ball joint on my sv and Glen came over to me with a spare, that in itself has my up most respect as l did not know him and him likewise, and for a sponsored driver to do that only shows the rest off of us the example we should be trying to follow, l only hope that he changes his mind as he was always so willing to help everybody and never minded countless questions from any of us he will be greatly missed by me and all the other racers he has helped with advice at SHRCC.

I don't know the cause of this, what seems to me, abrupt change of direction but I can only concur with McCabe's comments.

Thing I like Glenn's attitude is his way of involving people - a classic example being when he was talking through his ideas for changes to SHRCCC. I knew nothing about what was possible for an RC track and he was sitting there explaining it all to me. Now for context I have no say in how the club develops or the track changes but he had the patience to teach the neanderthal (me for reference) why it should be so.

Since then he's told me how to improve, where I should and shouldn't spend time trying to get better.

Basically - dude, don't do it

I've raced with Glenn as most of you know for the last 10 years and he's always been there to help with set-ups, guidance and general help
I'll miss him from the meetings
It's a real shame to lose such a skill full helpful guy from our sport
I hope he comes back soon when his thumbs start twitching!!
