Default BMW K1200S

Anybody got one of the above bikes. Are they as good as they say or do they have any little niggles not mentioned much.

Not owned one, but done a fair few miles on one and overall it rode well, power delivery was a bit inconsistent but pretty good.

Wouldn't buy one mind... better bikes that do the same thing if you can live without the roundel..

Wasn't too bothered about the badge but reading reviews its seemed impressive. The electronic adjustable suspension seemed a great option and being shaft driven would save all the lubing and chain tensioning. Braking is supposed to be really impressive with the abs as std. Motor cycle news gave it a good write up.

Was thinking of a Kawasaki zzr1400 but talking to a bloke at the horseshoe pass he put me off it.

Spoke to a mate who has had one for five years, he said just make sure its a later one as the early ones have a few bugs, (the power delivery being one) but they were pretty much all sorted with tune release or MY updates..

ZZR1400 is a missile though.. And has a naughty reputation...
