Just finished building up my MP9E TKI; and just have to fit in the electric package. Any suggestions for a Motor. ESC and battery combo?

That's A good question, Always a debate on this one.
If you put the 2 cars side by side and drag raced they could both be about same depending on gearing Motor and esc setting. It would be better to compare with Nitro 1/8th where Electric has more Torque but may lose out mid to top end.

Either way The Team Orion is one of if not the best Out there! Winner of BRCA Series 1/8th EP.
Of course you must consider I am biased as we sell Team Orion.

I went for the Orion R8 option in the end. Very impressed with it, and I am getting plenty of run time with the Orion 6000Mah 90C 4s lipo. Frankly, the Nitro is going to be ditched as the electric is so easy to run.

Anyhow, does anyone know where I can get hold of a spare Mp9e TKI bodyshell? Or is there any other body shells that fit? The MP9 one is a little tight with the bulkier battery being placed on the left side.

I run a Viper VTX8 in mine with Turnigy Trackstar 2100kv. Will replace the Turnigy with the Viper VF8 1900kv when it comes out next month.

Hello,

Just ordered my MP9E TKI, can't wait!!

Any concerns or issues I need to know about the kit before and after building it?

Will be running a Tekin 1900kv Gen2 setup with a 4s Gens Ace battery, will be raced on dirt at Slough.

Thanks.

Only been out with my car once at Slough its a fantastic bit of kit, grips nicely, corners quick etc. Love it! could do with slight setup improvements but nevertheless its a strong car!

Will be racing this in 2014!
