TRF Wing Mounts
Does anyone know of a good after market wing mount for the TRF 502X?
The plastic quality is too soft and the screws strip way to easily. Using an LMR wing, one big stack off some triples at my track and the screws holding the wing mounts (wing to mounts and mounts to shock tower) were literally pulled out. I tightened them back up but they just kept coming lose again each and every run. The ones on the TRF 201 are nearly as bad. Same type of plastic.

I`ve not had that problem with mine and i crash alot. So cant you put longer screws throo and then a nut on the end? Thats what i`d do anyways

I did think of that. Thought I'd test the aftermarket 1st.

That's what I did as well. It looks tidy of your're not a hack. You just drill the bottom hole all the way through with a 3mm drill and put a longer screw in with a lock-nut. Problem solved. The issue I have heard with the aluminum aftermarket wing brackets is that they are so rigid, your shock tower cracks instead, which would suck. I would stick with the stock soft plastic and try the screw trick. It works for me.
