Default Detc410 build

Hi has anyone else found this or something has gone wrong. I've just built the car from the intruction dimensions for the chamber links and suspension hanger inserts. Putting on the setup gauges I am getting about 4 deg chamber on the rear, 3 deg on the front and a negative 1-1.5 deg on the front toe. Anyone shed any light on this one. This is my first kit build, just to mention, setup for low/med outside.
Cheers

Use your gauges to get set up spot on.the instruction dimensions are are rough guide to get you close to a std set up if that makes sense

Fair enough, what I am trying to under stand is the toe inserts. The rear inserts give me the toe I select but on the front the steering links are now involved. So there must be a neutral length for the steering links for the toe inserts to set the toe, if I've understood that correct.

Take the two front toe links off and get them the same length using some calipers.
Put them back on the car and adjust both sides equally until you get 0 toe in. Measure front and rear of the front tyres until they are the same distance. A 300mm ruler is perfect for this.

I think you don't understand the front pivot inserts, they are not for toe like the rear, but pivot width/arm sweep. You use the turnbuckles to set toe on the front

Thank you and your right that was my under standing, I thought once the steering arms were setup neutral, the car front pivot blocks were a quick way of changing the toe angle.
I guess this is where a few years experience come into play to know and understand this, since the instructions don't explain this for a chap with not much experience.
Cheers
